A Trusted Name in Utah Private Investigations Since 1996.
After graduating from the University of Utah in 1992, Mr. Schneemann worked exclusively as a surveillance investigator conducting Workers’ Compensation investigations for four years. Once he had accumulated the required number of investigative hours and experience, he acquired his Private Investigator’s License and soon after founded Utah Private Investigations.
The company has grown over the years, developing a strong network of quality investigators throughout the state. Despite this growth, we’ve been able to maintain a small-business, personal approach to investigative work.

Utah Private Investigations is a family-owned company, led by Patrick Schneemann and his wife, Hadley, who both work ac tively in the business.
Over their 30-year marriage, they’ve raised seven children — many of whom have worked for the company at different times. The only thing dividing the family is their support for the Utes vs. Cougars rivalry. Patrick is a proud U of U graduate, while his children have attended both BYU and U of U.
Despite their sports differences, the family remains united in providing high-quality investigative services.
