Western Investigations was founded by Patrick R. Schneemann in 1996 and over the past 20+ years, Mr. Schneemann has been focused on delivering Utah client’s with the most effective investigative services at the best possible price. After graduating from the University of Utah in 1992, Mr. Schneemann worked exclusively as a surveillance investigator conducting Workers’ Compensation investigations for 4 years. After accumulating the adequate number of investigative hours and experience, Mr. Schneemann acquired his Private Investigator’s License in 1996 and shortly thereafter, founded Western Investigations. The company has grown over the years and we now have a network of quality investigators throughout the state. Although the business has grown, we’ve been able to maintain that small business personal approach to investigative work.

Western Investigations specializes in surveillance, background investigations, locates and general investigations. As a licensed Utah private detective agency, our company can provide our clients with a wide variety of services. What really sets us apart from other private investigators is our ability to clearly grasp our clients needs and circumstances and then effectively apply our services in a way that meets their goals and objectives.

Western Investigations is a family owned company. Both Patrick Schneemann and his wife, Hadley, work in the business. They have raised 7 children and over the course of their 30 year marriage years most of their children have worked for the investigations company. The only thing that divides the family is their support for the Utes & Cougars. Patrick Schneemann is a graduate from the University of Utah and his children have attended both BYU and the UofU… They may be divided when it comes to College Rivalries, they are united when it comes to providing quality investigation services.

Emily Schneemann currently works in the office and performs both Case File Setups and Database Research related to Background Investigations, Locate Investigations and General Investigation Cases.

Both Patrick and Hadley share in the Case Management responsibilities. Our company prides itself on exceptional Customer Service. Patrick Schneemann splits his time between conducting investigations in the field and managing cases from the office.
